Job Description

We are looking for a secure and committed childcare worker (barnskötare) for a 50% temporary position for one year. The role involves work from lunchtime through the afternoon, where you will become an important part of the after-school center's operations and the students' daily routine.

You work closely with the students, creating security and contributing to a positive and structured afternoon for the group of children. You meet children with a low-affective approach, are flexible in daily life, and collaborate well with colleagues and guardians.

Your responsibilities include:

• Work in the after-school center from lunchtime and during the afternoon.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and structured environment.
• Work with a low-affective approach in all situations.
• Provide support to students in social and pedagogical contexts.
• Collaborate with colleagues and guardians.
• Contribute to the planning and development of after-school center activities.

Medical Responsibilities

A central part of the role is to:

• Provide support to students with diabetes.
• Perform blood sugar checks.
• Follow dietary and medical routines.
• Work based on individual action plans.
• Be secure and precise in medical procedures.

Nykvarn Municipality is a Swedish-speaking area with Finnish administrative status, and we consider it an advantage if you speak Finnish.
