The Social Services Department is responsible for individual and family care, elderly care, and care for people with disabilities. We work preventively with support, interventions, and authority exercises for children, young people, families, adults, the elderly, and people with disabilities.

About the job

The work is mainly performed within daily activities where you support the user in everyday life and contribute to a meaningful, safe, and developing existence. You help with various activities, routines, and social contexts based on the user's needs and conditions, with a focus on participation and quality of life.

As a personal assistant, you work closely with the user and are an important part of creating structure, security, and joy in her daily life. You adapt your working method based on the situation and daily mood, and encourage independence where possible.

You become part of an engaged team and receive support from managers and colleagues. The work is characterized by a professional approach where respect, openness, engagement, and cooperation are central parts, with a common ambition to develop the operations and create the best possible conditions for the user.

About you

You have a genuine interest in working with people and see each individual's unique needs and opportunities. You take responsibility for your work, are reliable, and have the ability to independently plan and take initiative in everyday life. At the same time, you are sensitive, flexible, and have a high personal maturity that enables you to handle different situations in a safe and professional manner.

You also have good cooperation skills and enjoy working closely with both colleagues and relatives, where you contribute to an open and respectful dialogue regarding the user's needs and development.

It is meritorious if you have:

• Nursing/Care education
• Experience working with children/young people with disabilities
• Knowledge of epilepsy and intellectual functional variation

You should have good knowledge of Swedish, both in speech and writing.

We would like you to share the user's interest in singing and music. Great importance is attached to personal suitability.
