I am a happy and charming 13-year-old boy living with my family. I am now looking for a secure and engaged personal assistant who wants to become a part of my daily life.

I have autism and an intellectual disability. I enjoy being active, but I feel my best in calm and predictable environments. I am sensitive to loud noises and bright light, which can affect my well-being, and in some situations, this may lead to challenging behavior. Therefore, it is important that you, as an assistant, are calm, secure, and work with a low-affective approach.

I am primarily looking for a man who has experience working with children or young people with autism and intellectual disabilities. Most importantly to me is that you are attentive, patient, and able to build a secure and positive relationship with me.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people with autism
• Experience with low-affective interaction/approach
• Calm, secure, and patient attitude
• Good knowledge of Swedish; knowledge of Russian is an advantage

Advantageous

• Previous experience as a personal assistant
• Experience working with intellectual disabilities
• Experience with challenging behaviors

Working Hours: Initially, we are looking for someone who can work one day per weekend, approximately once a week.

Position: Hourly employment/extra help as needed. If the collaboration works well, there is an opportunity to increase the number of shifts in the future.
