Personal Assistant Needed for 11-Year-Old in Södermalm, Stockholm

We are looking for a calm and dedicated personal assistant for our client, an 11-year-old boy with severe developmental disabilities, epilepsy, and mobility impairments. The child lives with his mother and needs support in all aspects of daily life.

Our client is a social and curious boy who enjoys watching iPad and TV, swimming, participating in ParaSport activities, and spending time with his family. He attends school in an adapted class and communicates using various aids, including a widget tablet.

Responsibilities

As an assistant, you will be a vital part of our client's daily life. Your tasks include:

• Support with daily routines such as dressing, hygiene, toilet visits, and showering.
• Assistance with meals and drinks.
• Support with medication and presence during epileptic seizures.
• Accompanying the child to leisure activities, excursions, and school trips.
• Creating safety, structure, and joy in daily life.
• Communication using assistive communication devices.

Who We Are Looking For

• You are calm, secure, and patient.
• You are responsible and able to take initiative.
• You have an interest in working with children with special needs.
• You can build trust and security for both the child and his mother.
• Experience with epilepsy, developmental disabilities, or work as a personal assistant is an advantage.
