Stockholm – our capital city of millions of dreams, expectations, and ambitions. We work for everyone who lives here today and in the future. Now we are looking for you who want to think big, new, and different with us – for the people of Stockholm.

The Social Services Administration in the City of Stockholm has an overarching and coordinating role for social services' individual and family care, as well as the disability area. Here, good conditions are created to meet residents in need of social services support. In close collaboration with the district administrations, we contribute to a modern, digital, legally secure, equal, and knowledge-based social service with a strong development focus. Within the administration, a wide range of support measures are offered to the city's residents, and the offering changes based on the needs of Stockholmers and the requests of the district administrations. The work is often carried out in close cooperation with other authorities, civil society, and business. The Social Services Administration is also responsible for the city's catering and tobacco licenses and conducts supervision.

Welcome to us

The Crisis Center Protected Housing is Stockholm City's protected housing for women exposed to violence, with or without children, as well as for women, men, and LGBTQI+ individuals exposed to honor-related violence and oppression. The activity is part of the Area for Support and Protection. Approximately 70 employees work within the area, divided into five operational areas.

Within the operational area Crisis Center Protected Housing, 20 employees work. We have space for 18 women, with or without children, where admission can be acute or planned. We work on behalf of social services and are staffed around the clock with awake night personnel.

The activity also has external apartments where we can receive men exposed to violence in close relationships/honor-related violence and oppression, LGBTQI+ individuals, as well as couples with or without children.

Do you have knowledge and interest in issues concerning intimate partner violence? Perhaps you have knowledge about trauma and how it affects the individual, and want to make a difference for the individual and for Stockholm City as a whole? We are now looking for a substitute for the women's team as our colleague goes on parental leave this fall!

We offer

To give you the best possible conditions, we offer a thorough introduction and attractive employment terms, occupational pension, and health benefits. You can also purchase gym memberships at Stockholm City's swimming pools, gyms, and fitness facilities at favorable rates.

Within the operational area, there are good development opportunities, and you will be offered supervision every other week from an external supervisor.

At the Crisis Center Protected Housing, the staff group is divided into two teams: one working with placed children and one working with placed adults. The work is scheduled day/evening and weekends on a rotating basis.

The work as a social secretary involves being a contact person and having overall responsibility for ensuring that placed adults and children receive the support and protection they need during their placement, based on the mandate of the placing social services.

As a social secretary in the women's team, your duties also include:
