Riksäpplet is a high school beautifully located by the Rudan outdoor area. It is situated directly adjacent to the Handen commuter train station. At Riksäpplet, Haninge's introduction programs are gathered: language introduction, individual alternative, and vocational introduction. We also have an adapted high school with about thirty students distributed across national and individual programs. In total, we have around 400 students enrolled in our courses.

Your assignment

As a social pedagogue at Riksäpplet High School, you will play a crucial role in the development and well-being of our students. Your assignment extends beyond just teaching; you will be an important support in the students' personal and social development. By creating safe and inspiring environments, you help our students reach their goals and build strong relationships. Together with an engaged team of colleagues and with a holistic view, you will work to promote a positive school environment where everyone can feel seen and heard. You will:

• Create safe and stimulating relationships with our students.
• Promote a positive learning environment and support the students' personal development.
• Support students in their social and emotional development.
• Work actively to create and maintain a safe and inclusive school environment.
• Initiate and participate in activities that promote community and cooperation among students.
• Work closely with teachers and other professional groups to jointly create strategies that benefit each individual's needs.
• Collaborate with teachers and other staff to identify and meet individual needs.
• Develop and implement educational programs that strengthen the students' social and emotional well-being.
• Document and evaluate interventions to ensure continuous improvement.
