Welcome to us

One of our employees is moving on to a new assignment within the unit, and therefore we are now looking for an Economic Case Manager for an important and meaningful job. The position is located at the Unit for Administration and Finance within the Department for Disability, Social Psychiatry, and Elderly Care.

The unit is led by a unit manager and consists of administrative assistants, assistance case managers, economic case managers, business controllers for finance, and business controllers for follow-up of SoL and LSS.

The unit's main task is to provide support in administrative and financial processes to the authority-operating activities within the department. Some administrative support is also provided to other parts of the department. The work includes, among other things, administrative support, invoice management, fee handling, financial follow-ups, business follow-ups, contract follow-ups, as well as processing of travel assistance, national travel assistance, municipal housing supplement for persons with disabilities, sick leave compensation within personal assistance, and security alarms for residents under 65 years who do not have other interventions.

Your role

As an Economic Case Manager, you are part of the unit's economic group, which today consists of six economic case managers and one business controller. The group has broad competence and all employees are social workers with experience working as assistance case managers.

Your main tasks are fee handling and invoice management. You are responsible for ensuring that the individual is charged the correct fee and that the correct compensation is paid to the provider.

The assignment includes, among other things, checking and certifying invoices, handling fee decisions, and investigating and deciding on applications for increased reservation amounts and reduced rent. Other common tasks related to the assignment may also occur.

The content of the assignment is based on the needs of the activity and can therefore change and develop over time.

Your competence and experience

We are looking for you who have:

  • A degree in Social Work (Social Worker).
  • Good computer skills.
  • Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

It is meritorious if you have experience of authority operations and fee handling as an assistance case manager within any of the activity areas of disability, social psychiatry, or elderly care.
