Gasometer opens in Spring 2027 in Norra Djurgårdsstaden and establishes itself as a new destination where culture, gastronomy, and live experiences converge. In an iconic industrial building, an arena for top-tier productions and experiences is being created.

We are now looking for a Project Manager who wants to take overall responsibility for the delivery of MICE events in this unique environment.

Your Responsibilities

As a Project Manager, you have overall responsibility for our MICE events in the arena – from client briefs and planning to execution and follow-up. You combine a strong business focus with an eye for detail, ensuring that each event creates a first-class guest experience while achieving set business goals.

You are the client's main contact throughout the process and collaborate closely with our sales department and the arena's operational functions to ensure that every event is carried out safely, professionally, and in line with the experience and quality that Gasometer stands for.

In the role of Project Manager, you will:

  • Conduct site viewings and client meetings
  • Maintain dialogue with the client throughout the project – from the initial brief and planning to execution and evaluation
  • Be the client's primary contact and translate the business deal and the client's vision into a clear operational plan
  • Actively work on upselling and create conditions for recurring business
  • Collaborate closely with outside sales to develop the business and maximize the value of each event
  • Ensure clear communication and coordination between internal functions and external suppliers
  • Have overall operational responsibility on-site during the setup, execution, and teardown of events
  • Handle bookings, invoicing, and project closure
  • Actively contribute to the team's sales targets
  • Participate in developing working methods, processes, and collaborations between different functions

We are looking for someone who has

  • Relevant education in the field or equivalent professional experience
  • Experience in similar tasks, preferably within MICE
  • Very good understanding of the visitor industry
  • Experience working with event and booking systems as well as Microsoft 365
  • Experience working towards set goals and schedules
  • Good ability to collaborate with many internal and external stakeholders
  • Very good communication skills in Swedish and English, both verbal and written

As a person, you are driven by sales and see opportunities to create experiences that exceed expectations. You take great personal responsibility and drive your projects forward, while involving the right people at the right time to create the best possible results. You are creative, solution-oriented, and communicative, with the ability to see the big picture and understand what is required to make a complex operation with high volumes run smoothly. You thrive in a role with many interfaces between clients, sales, and operations, and appreciate working close to the operational activities to ensure high quality in every delivery.

We offer

This is a role for you who wants to be involved from the start in a business with high ambitions and a clear direction. You will become part of a context where we build long-term, work closely together, and where every role contributes to the whole.

The position is full-time, permanent, with a start date of October 1st or as agreed. Probation period applies. Work during evenings and weekends occurs. You report to the Operations Manager.

Collective agreement and good conditions are a given for us!

Application

The last day for applications is August 15th. We work with continuous selection and may fill the position before the deadline. Do not wait with your application!

In your application, we would like you to include a cover letter describing what attracts you to the Project Manager role. The cover letter replaces the traditional personal letter. You can either paste the text directly into your CV or attach it under “Cover Letter”.

Gasometer is part of Miramis, a group with hotels, restaurants, and arenas in Italy and Sweden. What we build is about experiences and meetings. We believe that joy can arise in many different contexts – at a rock concert, during an evening walk, at a memorable dinner, or in an unexpected meeting in a small fishing village. We develop by listening – to guests and employees – and by understanding the place's history and heritage. There are no solutions that fit all. Every place, every guest, and every day is unique.

Today, Miramis owns five properties along the southern coast of Tuscany and owns or operates four more in Stockholm. What unites them is the connection to the place. Every project carries a social and cultural heritage that we build upon – with creative energy, contemporary design, local engagement, and a sustainable way of working with hospitality.
