We are looking for a secure, engaged, and flexible personal assistant for a cheerful and lively 11-year-old boy. The boy has autism and a moderate intellectual disability. He is very active, loves to move around, and is often “on the go”. He is prone to wandering and lacks risk awareness, which means he needs constant supervision to avoid injury. Recently, he has also experienced epileptic seizures, so experience with epilepsy is a merit.

Education, Experience, and Personal Qualities

• Experience working with children, especially children with autism.
• Experience with epilepsy is a plus (merit).
• Calm, secure, and physically fit, as the boy is very active.
• Attentive, responsible, and understands the importance of constant supervision.
• Flexible and able to adapt to a schedule every other weekend.
• Patient and uses a low-affective approach in interactions.

Other Information

Working hours: 10:00–22:00
Scope: 1 day every other weekend
Flexibility required: It can be either Saturday or Sunday every other weekend. You will receive notice in advance, but one of the days will always be staffed. Other times are covered by a relative assistant. The boy attends school on weekdays.

We apply individual salary setting and have collective agreements. Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.

Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.
