Prima Omsorg i Norden AB is an assistance provider striving to maintain the highest possible quality in the delivery of assistance. Our goal is always to achieve the highest possible quality of life for the assistance users who have chosen us as their provider. The path to this goal is education and supervision. We are convinced of this. Therefore, as an employee at Prima Omsorg, you can expect to gain valuable knowledge and continuous supervision regarding your tasks.

Our cheerful and lovely young woman is now looking for a personal assistant. Days are very varied in working with her. There are days filled with play, laughter, and fun, but also times when your role is to prevent and manage frustrations and challenging situations. Therefore, it is important to constantly be attentive to her well-being and be adaptable in different environments. The work should be characterized by strengthening the customer's independence and self-determination.

The person we are looking for should be engaged and work with an open mind. Previous experience working in a school for students with disabilities, as a teacher, or in a similar field is a significant advantage. Your background does not necessarily need to be as a personal assistant; perhaps you have worked with individuals on the autism spectrum in another type of organization.

You should be positive, attentive, responsible, and playful. With a great responsibility to lead and plan the day, as well as working with clarity. It is incredibly important to build a relationship and work according to her needs and lifestyle. This creates trust and security for her. The customer has a great interest in taking the bus, subway, and boat. She has Epilepsy (EP) and autism, so prior experience in these areas is advantageous.

You need to have the following qualities/interests:

  • Enjoy playing
  • Enjoy coming up with activities
  • Be able to remain calm in all situations
  • Have a childlike spirit and act playfully
  • Be stable and secure in yourself (have thick skin)

If you are the person we are looking for, you will be an assistant to a fantastic young woman with a great interest in fun and play. An incredibly learning and developing job where there is an opportunity to become her friend. She has extensive needs for supervision and care.

We are looking for you who:

  • Are inventive, motivating, and engaging.
  • Are positive, calm, stable, and secure in yourself.
  • Have autism-specific knowledge.
  • Are attentive, clear, and adaptable in your work approach.
  • Are responsible, patient, and have great endurance.
  • Have a great ability to control and manage your own emotions.
  • Must be able to write, understand, and speak fluent Swedish as daily written documentation is required.

The position involves hours throughout the entire day. Day, evening, night, and weekends. The position is approximately 50–80 percent.

As an employee at Prima Omsorg, mandatory education and pedagogical supervision apply.

Before starting work, you need to provide an extract from the criminal record registry, which you can order here: https://polisen.se/Service/Blanketter/Blanketter-belastningsregistret/blankett-4429-LSS-belastningsregistret/ (https://polisen.se/Service/Blanketter/Blanketter-belastningsregistret/blankett-4429-LSS-belastningsregistret/)
