The Adult Unit at the Social Services Department is looking for a Social Secretary who, together with colleagues, group managers, and the unit manager, wants to drive and further develop work within the areas of harmful substance use and addiction, domestic violence, and crime.

At the Adult Unit, over 30 engaged employees work together with three group managers and the unit manager. We offer support to adults in the areas of social assistance, integration, harmful substance use and addiction, domestic violence, crime, social psychiatry, and housing. We are a social, cheerful, and energetic work group where many have chosen to stay for the long term.

Job Description

As a Social Secretary with us, you are responsible for investigating, assessing, and making decisions regarding interventions for adults with harmful substance use and addiction, or those exposed to domestic violence, or who wish to leave a criminal group. You follow up on approved interventions and ensure that support is tailored to the individual's needs, current legislation, and the municipality's guidelines. The work involves close collaboration with the municipality's outpatient care, which offers structured treatment interventions both individually and in groups. You also contact other internal and external actors to create a cohesive support system for the individual. The role includes documenting according to current guidelines, contributing to development work within the unit, and actively participating in good cooperation within the unit.

We are looking for someone who:

• holds a degree in Social Work (Social Work)
• has solid knowledge and extensive experience in authority practice within the substance abuse field
• has experience working with domestic violence
• communicates well both verbally and in writing

As a person, you are engaged, empathetic, mature, and flexible. You work in a structured manner and find it easy to collaborate and relate to others.
