We are now looking for a personal assistant interested in working between 75-100% on a fixed schedule. Primarily day shifts (08:00-15:00), possibly some evenings (15:00-22:00) on weekdays, and every other weekend (10:00-21:00).

About the client and duties:

The client is an active man in his 50s who uses a wheelchair. He lives in an apartment in Salem. He enjoys bathing, sauna, walking, exercising, listening to music, and being out in society. Due to his diagnosis of dysarthria, he has reduced speech ability. Therefore, it is important that you have a good command of the Swedish language.

As a personal assistant to the client, you will play a crucial role in his daily life. You will assist the client with daily activities, which include:

• Support with hygiene routines and dressing
• Cooking and cleaning
• Assistance with transfers and activities at home
• Help with communication
• Contribute to a safe and supportive environment

The ideal candidate must meet the following requirements:

• You speak fluent Swedish
• You are proactive and take initiative
• You can provide good service
• You can cook
• You are meticulous and self-reliant
• You are calm and stress-resistant
• You have patience and understanding
• Meritorious if you have a heavy lifting license (lyftkörkort)

Your work is of great significance to his well-being and quality of life. Characteristics that describe you are that you are responsible, patient, calm, and empathetic. Personal maturity and life experience are highly valued.
