Unika Envägen's group home is located in Hallstavik. The group home consists of six apartments and shared facilities in the same stairwell of a rental building.

As a support assistant, you will work to provide individually tailored support to people with functional variations, with the goal of promoting their independence and well-being in everyday life. You will support the residents in their daily routines and activities, based on their needs and abilities, always using their personal implementation plan as a starting point.

We work with a salutogenic and pedagogical approach, starting from each individual's unique strengths and resources. The goal is for the residents to achieve as much independence as possible and to be able to live a meaningful life with a high quality of life. As a support assistant, you work based on clarifying pedagogy and low-affective handling to create security and predictability in the residents' daily lives. At the same time, we have a strong focus on working professionally and efficiently within the organization's resources and budget.

You are relationship-building, calm, stable, and able to maintain a realistic perspective on situations that arise in daily work. You have good collaboration skills and relate to others in a listening manner, and you enjoy collaborating with others. You are an independent, humble, and responsible person who is passionate about care work and can see the individual's needs.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Requirements:

• Very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Good computer skills, experience with documentation.
• Experience working in care and social services.

Merits if you additionally have:

• Experience in psychiatry, AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication), and low-affective handling.
• Worked with complex support needs and challenging behaviors.
• Upper secondary education such as Child and Youth Care program, Care and Health program, or post-secondary education such as support pedagogy, social pedagogy, or higher education in a relevant field.
• Driver's license.

Working hours: Day, evening, weekend, and sleeping on-call shifts
Start date: According to agreement, we are positive if you can start soon.
Collective agreement: We are bound by collective agreements with Vårdföretagarna/Kommunal, Sector E.
