Job Description

Do you want to be part of an engaged team working for the citizens of Upplands-Bro Municipality? We are now looking for a structured and service-oriented Social Administrator for the Adult Unit. As a Social Administrator within the social services, you will handle administrative tasks that support social secretaries and other staff in their work helping the municipality's citizens.

As a Social Administrator, you will:

• Assist social secretaries with administrative support and simpler handling of incoming reports, draw up placement agreements, book meetings, handle client contacts, and compile statistics and reports.
• Create structure and templates.
• Handle invoicing in the Raindance system.
• Write, archive, and manage documentation related to client cases.
• Act as a contact person for clients and other actors, providing information and guidance within the framework of the social services' mission.
• Order goods and services.

We are looking for you who:

• Have post-secondary education in administration or social work, or other education/experience that the employer deems equivalent.
• Have previous experience within the field, preferably in the public sector or in a larger organization.
• Fluently speak and write Swedish.
• Have good digital competence.
• Are good at collaborating, building good relationships, and are skilled at communicating and writing.
• It is an advantage if you have an understanding of work processes within social work and experience with the Life Care case management system or the Raindance financial system.

As a person, you are meticulous and have a professional attitude. We believe you have a positive approach, are accustomed to working independently as well as collaborating with others. Thinking outside the box and working in a solution-oriented manner comes naturally to you, all to provide good service to our colleagues.

About the Unit

At the Adult Unit, over 30 engaged employees work together with the unit manager and three group managers. We offer support to adults in areas such as financial assistance, integration, harmful substance use and addiction, domestic violence, social psychiatry, and housing. We are a social, cheerful, and energetic team where many have chosen to stay for a long time.
