Are you ready for one of the world's most fun jobs?

I am a cheerful and determined 9-year-old girl, and I am now looking for a new assistant for my team.

I am in the 3rd grade at an adapted primary school.

I love getting up to mischief, playing dress-up, playing with Barbie, playing Roblox, making my own slime, creating YouTube videos (not posted), putting on makeup, singing, and dancing. Sometimes I go for walks with my dog, so it’s good if you are not allergic to dogs.

Another thing I love doing in the summer is swimming, in both cold and warm water. I am not a water baby like my dad.

I was born with spinal muscular atrophy, a condition that means I have weak muscles and slightly poorer motor skills throughout my body. This is why I use an electric wheelchair outdoors, but also a manual wheelchair indoors. I was also diagnosed with epilepsy last year, but I don't notice it very much.

I need someone who can be my arms and legs sometimes, but otherwise, I am just like any other lively 9-year-old. I prefer to speak for myself, unless I get too shy.

The person I am looking for should be a cheerful rascal who can match my liveliness but also takes their work seriously. As my assistant, you will be in my constant vicinity to step in when I need help or support, but it is also important that you have the ability to be "invisible" when I am, for example, talking to my friends. I don't want you to be my extra parent or teacher; I want you to be my partner-in-crime who stands by my side in all weathers.

For me, it is important that you speak fluent Swedish so we can understand each other. Since lifts are involved, I would appreciate it if you are strong and can manage to move me short distances.

You need to be a non-smoker, as I dislike the smell and have a very good sense of smell.

It is an advantage if you have a driver's license and can drive, but it is not a requirement. Sometimes I travel to the countryside with my family, and it would be fun if you had the opportunity to come with me, either staying overnight or taking the train during the day, which is quite fast.

At my place, we try to help each other out. If an assistant is sick, we try to cover for each other so that I can get to school or do something else that is planned. No previous experience is required, just common sense and an understanding of the work as a personal assistant. If you like playing with me and getting into the spirit of play, we will probably get along well.

The Position:

The position consists of day, evening, and weekend work. When you work during the day, you will be with me at school, and in the afternoons/weekends, you are with me at home or accompany me on my various errands.

Don't forget to order an extract from the criminal record register, as it is needed to work with me. Read more here (https://polisen.se/tjanster-tillstand/belastningsregistret/barn-med-funktionsnedsattning/).

We only have the opportunity to contact candidates who are considered for an interview, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Therefore, do not wait to submit your application!

If you have any questions or thoughts regarding the position, you are welcome to contact Emma Wilson at 010-25 25 251.
