The Role

Do you want to make a difference every day? As a childcare assistant (barnskötare) with us, you play a vital role in creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for our students – both during school hours and at the after-school center (fritidshem). During the school day, you support students' learning, development, and social interaction in close collaboration with teachers and other staff. At the after-school center, you participate in planning and implementing meaningful activities that promote creativity, physical activity, community, and a love for learning. We have a high-quality after-school center where you will have the opportunity to contribute your experience and knowledge. At Frötuna School, we believe that secure relationships are the foundation for learning and development. We are now looking for an engaged childcare assistant who wants to help create a school day where every student feels seen, involved, and significant.

Requirements

• Trained childcare assistant (barnskötare)
• Experience in similar roles at an F-6 school (grades 1-6)

Merits

• Further education in NPD (Neuropsychiatric Disabilities)

• Start Date: 2026-09-01 or as agreed

The starting salary for this role is normally between 27,000–29,000 SEK, depending on experience and competence.

A probationary period may apply for permanent employment.
