The Social Services Field Team works with field-based social work in Sollentuna. The target group is young people aged 10–18 who are at risk of crime, substance abuse, mental health issues, and other social problems. The work is conducted at the individual, group, and structural levels, with the goal of identifying and preventing social issues among the municipality's youth in good time.

The Field Team is part of the Social Services Prevention Unit, which falls under the Children and Young People Department.

The team consists of five social workers, including one team leader and two SSPF coordinators. The Prevention Unit also coordinates prevention specialists, domestic violence coordinators, three process leaders, and counselors from the youth clinic.

One of our staff members will be on leave for a year to try out a different role within the municipality. We are now looking for a substitute.

The Field Team has established a well-functioning collaboration with the Culture and Leisure Department, police, schools, various Social Services operations, and non-profit organizations. The work is proactive and targets children and young people in schools, youth clubs, and public spaces during daytime, evenings, and nights.

We carry out structured work together with colleagues within our unit, Mini-Maria, and the police. This includes interventions in school classes, parent meetings, crisis talks, and motivational interviews. The Field Team also participates in events aimed at young people in the municipality.

The working hours cover daytime, evenings, and nights. Every other Friday, shifts run from 17:00 to 23:30.
