About Unique LSS Housing in Hammarbyhöjden and Enskededalen

The group homes are operated as a contract with a focus on LSS (Support and Service Act for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) target group 1 and currently have 5-6 apartments/places. We work with low-affective handling and a great commitment to creating a safe and developmental environment for our residents. There is a varying need for support and services at our different homes, but what they all have in common is that it is a cheerful group with a pleasant staff team. We are now looking for you who want to work as a casual worker.

About the role of Casual Worker

As a support assistant, you will work to provide individually adapted support to people with functional impairments, with the goal of promoting their independence and well-being in everyday life. You will support the users in their daily routines and activities, based on their needs and abilities, and always use their personal implementation plan as a starting point.

We work with a salutogenic and pedagogical approach, where we start from each individual's unique strengths and resources. The goal is for the users to achieve as much independence as possible and to be able to live a meaningful life with high quality of life. As a support assistant, you work based on clarifying pedagogy and low-affective handling to create safety and predictability in the users' everyday life. At the same time, we have a strong focus on working professionally and efficiently within the organization's resources and budget.

Qualifications

You are relationship-building, calm, stable, and can maintain a realistic perspective on situations that arise in daily work. You have good cooperation skills and relate to others in a listening way, and you enjoy collaborating with others. You are an independent, humble, and responsible person who is passionate about care work and can see the individual's needs.

We place great importance on personal suitability.

Requirements:
  • Very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
  • Good computer skills, experience with documentation.
  • Upper secondary education such as Child and Youth Program, Care and Nursing Program, or post-secondary education such as support pedagogy, social pedagogy, or university education in a relevant field.
Meritorious if you additionally have:
  • Experience working in care and nursing.
  • Experience in psychiatry, AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication), and low-affective handling.
  • Experience working with complex support needs.
Employment Terms

Employment Type: Casual Worker

Employment Degree: Part-time/Casual

Working Hours: Rotating schedule with day, evening, and weekend shifts. At one group home, we have awake nights, and at the other, it is sleeping on-call duty.

Start Date: By agreement, we view it positively if you can start soon.

Collective Agreement: We are bound by collective agreements to Vårdföretagarna/Kommunal, Sector E.
