About the position

We are currently looking for personal assistants for a 17-year-old boy living on Ekerö. Two of the positions are initially small part-time roles with 1 night shift per week, where work at other times may also occur for those who want and can. There is potential for greater employment on a fixed schedule in the long term. We are also looking for someone interested in working on an as-needed basis and covering for regular staff absences. The client uses a wheelchair and is self-advocating. He needs help with all aspects of his daily life. Duties include, but are not limited to: transfers using a ceiling hoist, planning and accompanying him on various activities and excursions, as well as personal hygiene.

The working hours are scheduled as follows:

• Monday-Thursday and Sunday: 21:00-09:00, with waiting time between 23:49-06:30,
• Monday-Thursday: 14:00-21:00.
• Saturday and Sunday: 12:00-20:00.

About the client

This client has a strong interest in food and restaurant visits, movies, video games, and YouTube. We view it positively if you, as an applicant, share these interests with him.

About you

As a personal assistant with us, you play a crucial role in creating a safe and meaningful daily life for our client. You will be an important part of their life and contribute to their independence and well-being.

We believe that you who apply for this position are a person who is sensitive, responsible, flexible, and cooperative. The most important factor is the personal chemistry between you as the applicant and the client. This may become decisive in the final selection.

You are required to:

• Be a non-smoker,
• Not be allergic to fur-bearing animals,
• Have fluent skills in the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

It is meritorious if you:

• Have experience in care and support or personal assistance,
• Hold a B-class driver's license,
• Share the client's interests.

Scope: Two of the positions are part-time at 1 night/week each, the third position is for extra/on-demand work. Number of positions: 3. Start date: Immediately. Selection and interviews are conducted continuously, and the positions will be filled as soon as possible. Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with the collective agreement.

From March 1, 2026, new regulations will apply meaning that the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record and extracts from the suspicion register.
