As a teacher at Ingrid School, you will be responsible for small classes of approximately 12–15 students, teaching your subjects. You will also serve as an educational mentor for one of the classes.

You will lead the students' schoolwork with the support of teaching assistants working in the various classes. Flexibility and the ability to adapt teaching to individual student needs are essential.

To offer a 100% position, you will also teach an additional natural science subject, based on your subject competence.

Information about the school

Ingrid School is a small primary and upper secondary school, primarily adapted for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), but open to all. The school is located in Bergshamra, Solna.

The school works based on TEACCH pedagogy, where each group/class has one teacher and one to two teaching assistants.

Ingrid School offers a workplace with good opportunities for pedagogical challenges and development, aiming to create excellent learning and leisure environments for children and young people with ASD. To enable this, staff receive continuous supervision and further education in ASD.

Although the position is formally advertised as fixed-term for one year, we are looking for someone who wants to be part of the team long-term, and our goal is to create lasting collaborations.
