Do you want to join a wonderful team and make a difference for a second-grade class at Kyrkskolan? This temporary position might be just what you're looking for. Here you will find a safe, warm, and creative school environment where we support each other – both inside and outside the classroom. You will follow the students' development closely and be an important figure in their school day.

As a substitute teacher for grade 2, you plan and conduct lessons, monitor students' knowledge development, and create structure and security in the class. You collaborate closely with colleagues, guardians, and student health services to ensure every student has the best possible conditions.

What we are looking for in you

We are looking for someone who thrives in the classroom, likes the age group of 7-8 year olds, and wants to contribute to a secure and curious learning environment. You are clear, warm, and can maintain both structure and morale even when many things are happening at once.

To succeed in the role, you have:

  • Teacher education with a focus on preschool class to grade 3 (F–3) or grades 1–3
  • At least 1–2 years of current experience working as a teacher or resource person in primary school, preferably in lower secondary school
  • Good knowledge of pedagogy and classroom leadership for younger students
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
  • Ability to use digital tools in teaching in a simple and natural way
  • Experience collaborating with colleagues, student health services, and guardians

It is an advantage if you have:

  • Experience working in public operations/schools under municipal management
  • Knowledge of extra adaptations and work with students in need of support
  • Experience with systematic quality work and documentation in school systems
