About the Workplace

Enebyberg School is located in a quiet villa area in Enebyberg, Danderyd Municipality. Approximately 600 students from preschool class to grade 6 attend the school, and there are approximately 80 staff members working here. Welcome to become part of us.

Responsibilities

Together with your colleagues, you will collaborate to plan the teaching for a specific grade, in accordance with our steering documents. You will be responsible for leading the daily work in your class, both independently and in collaboration with other teachers.

Teaching in crafts takes place in half-classes of 10-13 students in nice facilities. The teaching time is slightly higher than our other positions at the school, but you are not a mentor or recess supervisor. You are expected to continuously evaluate and follow up on the teaching and adapt it to the students' individual needs. This includes both students who need extra challenges and those who need extra support.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a certified teacher with eligibility in wood and metal crafts.
• Has experience with written assessments and grading.
• Is well-versed in the school's mission and steering documents.
• Has knowledge of inclusive and accessible learning environments.
• Has very good ability to express yourself both orally and in writing in Swedish.

We are looking for someone with great initiative and confidence in communicating and building good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You plan and organize your work well, finish what you start, and meet deadlines. As a teacher, you have a clear interest in collegial learning, are unpretentious, and a natural leader in the classroom. Furthermore, you can work independently but also enjoy working in teams with colleagues and are cooperative. You are engaged and driving so that together we can become the absolute best school for our students. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
