At the Education Administration in Järfälla Municipality, around 3,100 employees work across our 39 preschools, 22 schools, upper secondary schools, adult education, and central administration. Our operations are characterized by our keywords: professionalism, collegiality, and development power. With courage and competence, we drive our operations forward, and we value mutual respect and understanding among colleagues. Together, we strive to make each other better, for we know that when we develop together and constantly improve, we move Järfälla forward.
Olovslundskolan is located in western Jakobsberg. Approximately 620 students attend the school, from preschool class up to grade 6, and we also have an adapted primary school with students in grades 1-6. We are now looking for a teacher for our adapted primary school. There are approximately 30 students at the adapted primary school, distributed across 5 classes. The students at the adapted primary school have intellectual disabilities (ID), and many students have additional diagnoses such as autism, ADHD, and speech disorders. Our students need a slow teaching pace and to be met by calm and secure staff. We use, among other things, visual supports and PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System) signs to clarify tasks, routines, and events for the students during their days at school and in after-school care. Our students study both towards subjects and subject areas.
