About the School
Olovslundskolan is located in western Jakobsberg. The school has approximately 620 students from preschool class up to grade 6, and we also have an adapted primary school with students in grades 1–6. The school is characterized by a strong sense of community and high ambitions. Here, we work together to create a safe and stimulating learning environment where every student is given the conditions to reach as far as possible. Responsibilities
We are looking for an engaged and responsive teacher with a positive outlook! Your duties will be as a teaching teacher in lower primary school with mentor responsibilities for your class.
Together with other educators in the work team, you are responsible for creating and developing a safe and secure environment that attracts and challenges students to activity, learning, and responsibility. You want to drive pedagogical development and use current research, applying it in your work. You plan and follow up on teaching, and you analyze and assess the results.
Qualifications and Merits
We are looking for someone who:
- Collaborates easily with students, colleagues, guardians, and other staff. You relate to children and adults in a responsive and smooth manner, listening, communicating, and resolving conflicts constructively. You see collegial learning as a given and a prerequisite for creating new and in-depth knowledge.
- Plans, organizes, and prioritizes work effectively. You develop students' ability to learn and involve them in the planning of activities. You have high and positive expectations of students and are solution-focused. Furthermore, you have a strong desire to work to create the best pedagogical conditions for students.
- Has a positive attitude towards work and acts in accordance with decisions, operational plans, goals, policies, and guidelines.
- Has good self-insight, is confident in yourself and your pedagogical leadership, and has the ability to take leadership both inside and outside the classroom. You work independently and are flexible.
Requirements:
- Licensed teacher for grades 1–3.
Merits:
- Previous experience in pedagogical work.
- Qualified and licensed teacher for grades 1–6.
We place great importance on personal suitability. The position requires good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing.
