We are looking for a teacher in wood and metal crafts who wants to work at a school with the following qualities:

You will work in a teaching team for grades 4–6, consisting of skilled and dedicated personnel such as educators, student support staff, special needs pedagogues, counselors, and study and career advisors. Together, you work to give all students good opportunities to develop towards the goals of the education. There is a very good atmosphere within the team.

You put the student at the center and are a clear leader with good pedagogical skills. You easily create good relationships with colleagues, students, and guardians, and you value the importance of creating a good study environment and a positive atmosphere in the classroom.

You are attentive to the needs of students and the operations, and you are interested in developing and adapting your working methods to different conditions. You are well-versed in the goals of the curriculum and work systematically to make the teaching accessible to all students.

As a person, you are positive, solution-focused, and flexible. You are a good role model for students and staff, and your values align well with those of Västbergaskolan.

The position includes teaching in crafts in certain grades on the lower secondary level, with a workload of 20–30%. Together with the school's four other crafts teachers, you will work to continuously develop the teaching so that every student has the opportunity to develop as much as possible. Teaching takes place for 1–1.5 days per week.

This is a part-time position (20–30%) that may increase during the spring term of 2026. It is a temporary position that may convert to a permanent position from the spring term of 2026. The temporary contract covers the entire academic year 2026/2027.

Salary based on agreement.

Start date: August 11, 2025
