Our organization consists of four preschools and one F-3 school (grades 1-3). The preschools are located in northern Lidingö, close to water, forests, and public transport. We strive to be a sustainable learning organization where we learn from and with each other in various forums, networks, and meeting places across our units. Furthermore, we work to ensure that all preschools achieve a level of equivalence regarding process work, environment, and materials. All preschools have established core values and epistemological stances that guide children's education and teaching. Lidingö Municipality has 18 municipal preschools with different pedagogical approaches, varying child and staff groups, as well as unique premises and work plans. What unites us is the mission to lay the foundation for lifelong learning, based on the Education Act and the Swedish National Agency for Education's curriculum for the preschool. Job Responsibilities

In our organization, we see every child as a unique individual with their own experiences and competencies. We view children as curious and competent, with the will and ability to learn together with others. We work to develop children's multilingualism by offering many different ways to express themselves and create understanding of their surroundings.

As a preschool teacher, you plan, implement, and follow up on teaching based on children's interests and needs. You work in a process-oriented manner and organize activities in smaller child groups to enable exploration and deepening. The role includes creating learning environments that promote play, development, and learning, as well as supporting children's various ways of expression. You document and follow children's learning processes, contribute to children's participation and influence, and collaborate with colleagues and engage with guardians.

Qualifications

We are looking for two licensed preschool teachers for two of our preschools, whether you are a recent graduate or have a few years of experience in the profession. We would like you to have good digital competence and good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

We are looking for you who want to make a real difference for the children every day. You are curious, engaged, and inspiring in your approach, while being professional, flexible, and solution-focused. You thrive in collaboration with others and want to actively contribute to developing the pedagogical activities together with children and colleagues, based on the preschool curriculum, the unit's goals and guidelines, as well as our core values and stances.

You have a good understanding of your role as a preschool teacher and can translate the curriculum's goals and values into daily work. You have a clear child focus and always prioritize the children's safety, security, and well-being. You also have knowledge of how children's learning can be made visible and developed through pedagogical documentation, as well as how you can stimulate their communication and participation.

Employment Terms

• Employment Type: Permanent position.
• Duration: Permanent.
• Salary: The municipality applies individual salary setting.
• Start Date: By agreement. An initial six-month probationary period may be applicable.
