Do you want to be part of creating a school where inclusion, development, and individual opportunities are at the center? Iris Hadar is now looking for an engaged special needs educator for our operations in Upplands Väsby.

About the role

As a special needs educator with us, you will play a key role in the development of our operations. You work with students in SFI (Swedish for Immigrants) and basic Swedish courses, contributing to creating the best conditions for learning, participation, and goal achievement.

You will become an important collaboration partner for both students and teachers, with the opportunity to influence and develop the school's learning environments from the ground up. Through supervision, observations, and consultation, you support teachers in creating accessible, inclusive, and successful teaching.

Your responsibilities

• Support students' learning and development.
• Supervise and coach educators in special needs pedagogical matters.
• Contribute to the development of inclusive learning environments.
• Work with additional adaptations and pedagogical strategies based on the needs of individuals and groups.
• Participate in the creation and development of teaching materials and methods.
• Plan and implement competence development initiatives for staff.
• Actively participate in the school's quality and development work.

Qualifications

• Degree as a special needs educator.
• Experience in adult education.
• Good knowledge of the school's governing documents and special needs pedagogical methods.
• Good digital competence.
• Licens and/or experience in Swedish as a second language is an advantage.

• Scope: Full-time or part-time as agreed.
