Lärarförmedlarna is the largest provider of substitute teachers for schools in Sweden. We have agreements with many schools and preschools, offering a wide variety of exciting assignments. We are currently looking for you who want to work in preschools, as a class teacher in lower or middle school, or as a subject teacher in upper secondary school, high school, and adult education (Komvux). Together, we will find the subjects and grade levels that suit you best!

How Lärarförmedlarna works

With Lärarförmedlarna, work life becomes easier! You can work from preschool to adult education, with varying hours and frequency. Assignments last from a few weeks up to a full term. (Do you want to work on shorter assignments or single days? Then we recommend our sister company, Pamoja). You are always matched to your best assignment and never have to compete with colleagues for jobs. This provides security for both you and the school.

How the job works

The role of a substitute teacher involves planning and conducting lessons. It also includes contact with colleagues and parents.

You manage the job easily through our convenient app. You always have a personal contact with our support team who assists you when needed – before, during, and after the job. You work securely under a collective agreement and receive a thorough introduction before starting.

What skills do you need?

Our clients love our staff! Therefore, we are careful when recruiting:

• You need to be a qualified teacher or have other relevant education.
• You need experience in teaching, assessment, and evaluation.
• You are a skilled educator who understands that the job is also about enthusiasm and inspiration.
• You need to speak and write Swedish (or English in some cases) and have a valid certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record).
• You should want to be a role model for everyone you meet. Smart and kind, simply put :)
