At Lärarförmedlarna, our mission is to ensure that the door to the classroom is always open – even when regular teachers are sick or need to be away. It is an important job where you make a difference for children and young people every day.

Lärarförmedlarna is the largest provider of substitute teachers for schools in Sweden. We have agreements with many schools and preschools and offer a wide range of exciting assignments. We are now looking for you who want to work as a subject teacher in Physical Education for lower secondary school (grades 7-9) during the spring semester.

How Lärarförmedlarna works

With Lärarförmedlarna, work life becomes easier! You can work from preschool to adult education, full-time or part-time, frequently or rarely. Assignments last from a few weeks up to a full semester. (Do you want to work on shorter assignments or single days? Then we recommend our sister company, Pamoja). You are always matched to the assignment that suits you best and never have to compete with colleagues for jobs. This provides security for both you and the school.

How the job works

The role as a substitute teacher includes planning and conducting teaching. It also involves contact with colleagues and parents.

You manage the job easily in our user-friendly app. You always have a personal contact with our support team who assists you when needed – before, during, and after work. You work securely with a collective agreement and receive a thorough introduction to the job before starting.

What do you need to be able to do?

Our clients love our staff! Therefore, we are careful when we recruit.

• You need to be a trained teacher or have other relevant education.
• You need to have experience in teaching, assessment, and evaluation.
• You are a skilled educator who sees that the job is also about enthusiasm and inspiration.
• You need to speak and write Swedish (or in some cases English), and have a valid certificate of good conduct.
• You should want to be a role model for everyone you meet. Smart and kind, simply put :)
• You need to be able to work part-time or full-time during the spring semester.

How to apply
