Myrstuguberget Free School is a primary school located right in the middle of the Myrstuguberget residential area – a so-called “school in the village” that celebrated its 30th anniversary last year.

The school currently has approximately 115 students distributed across grades Pre-K to 5, and many families living in the area choose to send their children here. The school has a good reputation and is characterized by the motto: “It is important to me that you do well.” The staff is dedicated, class sizes are smaller than average, and staff turnover is low. There is one class per grade level. The school is divided into two departments: “Vargen” hosts grades 1–3, and “Myran” hosts the Pre-K class as well as grades 4 and 5.

The school is currently led by the Principal, the Manager of the After-School Center, and Team Leaders responsible for grades Pre-K to 5.

After-School Teacher with qualifications to teach Crafts (Slöjd) in grades 2–5.

We are looking for someone with broad knowledge and a strong interest in working at the after-school center and teaching crafts.

We envision a person who is curious, open-minded, and willing to help out with various tasks that may arise in a school setting.

Communication with colleagues, students, and guardians is the foundation for building good relationships.

We put the student at the center and value our staff and teamwork.

Over the past two years, the school has prioritized work on digitalization and student health. This school year, we are working on language-developing teaching methods both at the school and at the after-school center. We aim to continue developing the after-school center to create “a red thread” throughout the students’ entire school day.

The school is characterized by a high staff-to-student ratio and qualified teachers. The school also has a Student Health Team (SHT) consisting of the Principal, school nurse, school psychologist, counselor, and special education teacher.

This is a permanent position with a 6-month probationary period. We are covered by a collective agreement with Almega Utbildning.

Start date: August 10, 2026, or as agreed.
