The Child and Education Administration works on behalf of the Preschool Board and the Primary School Board. The administration is responsible for preschool activities, school-age childcare, primary school, and adapted primary school. Our most important task is to give all children and students in Huddinge the opportunity to develop to their full potential in a safe educational environment. Here, all our employees play an important role in the implementation.

Utsäljeskolan is a completely newly built municipal school in Huddinge with both primary school and adapted primary school, located in a quiet villa area on the border between Stuvsta and Segeltorp. Today, we are a three-stream F-8 school, and next academic year we will become a fully developed F-9 school. We currently have nearly 700 students and over 100 staff members who enjoy our fantastic premises.

The school has a well-functioning student health team as well as special educators who work closely with teachers in daily operations. Our students have access to Chrome Books used in schoolwork. We place great emphasis on having a balance between analog and digital working methods to promote students' development and creativity.

About the job

We are looking for a teacher with the subject combination Craft and Art who will teach wood and metal crafts in grades 3-5 and art in upper secondary school next academic year. Mentorship is also included in the position. Together with your colleagues in the work team and subject team, you will be responsible for ensuring that the teaching best meets the students' needs and stimulates good social and knowledge development.

About you

You are a certified teacher with eligibility to teach the subject combinations Wood and Metal Crafts and Art grades 7-9. To succeed in your assignment, you need to be well-versed in the school's steering documents and be skilled at expressing yourself in speech and writing. You have good subject knowledge and clear structured teaching. You work language-developing in all subjects and conduct varied teaching. You see documentation and assessment of students' knowledge development as a natural part of your work. You have good ability for analysis and reflection and constantly develop your teaching. You see yourself as a natural part of creating good conditions for students' learning.
