About the Position

Responsibilities
Capella School consists of a special needs primary school and a special needs upper secondary school. We work together as a unit where flexibility and collaboration across educational stages are key success factors in meeting individual students' needs.
The work at our school involves serving in different classes and adapting to various curricula and individual needs.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who want to work as a student assistant.
- Experience from working in a special needs primary school is desirable.
- In our operations, we use sign language as support in most classes. Visual support in teaching is used in all classes, and we see this as a natural part of our learning environment.
- You need to have IT skills as the students use Chromebooks and iPads in their teaching.
- You must also have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
As a person, you are engaged, flexible, responsive, and have an easy time building relationships with both students, guardians, and colleagues. You can work both independently and in a team.
We place great emphasis on personal suitability. To be able to help students during physical education, you need to be a competent swimmer (at least 200 m) as you are expected to participate in the pool activities. You will also participate actively in physical education moments, including showering and changing. Based on these requirements, we prefer male applicants.
