About the role

We are currently looking for a Financial Controller within Financial Control & Accounting for our client in the automotive industry. The organization is characterized by strong international collaboration with colleagues in over 50 countries, all closely linked to operational activities. In this role, you will work within a global finance function and collaborate closely with colleagues both locally and internationally. You will become part of an experienced team working with accounting, reporting, and analysis in a complex and dynamic environment.

The position is a full-time consultancy assignment starting in August 2026 and ending in March 2027.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Work closely with the Accounting Manager in ongoing accounting and reporting tasks.
  • Collaborate with international colleagues on accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Participate in and support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
  • Contribute to financial analyses and performance tracking.
  • Drive and coordinate the annual reporting process.
  • Act as the main contact for external auditors.
  • Plan and coordinate the audit process.
  • Contribute to improvements in accounting and reporting processes.

About you

We are looking for someone who is structured, analytical, and meticulous, with strong prioritization skills and the ability to work independently. You have a pragmatic approach and thrive in a role where you take significant ownership. We also value proactivity, a solution-oriented mindset, and a strong commitment to delivering excellent service. You collaborate well with others and contribute to a positive team climate by sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues. Previous experience working in a large organization is considered an advantage for success in this role.

Qualifications:

  • University degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or equivalent.
  • Good knowledge of K3 and IFRS standards.
  • Experience working in SAP or similar ERP systems.
  • Very good skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Several years of relevant work experience in financial reporting and accounting (approx. 8 years).
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
