For the past two years, the school has also offered adult education focused on industry, as well as a newly launched T4 program. Lindholmen Technical High School is certified as a Technology College and HVAC College. The school is also part of the Erasmus project Voltage.
Job Responsibilities
The role involves performing administrative tasks and providing high-quality service to students, principals, teachers, and other staff at the school. You will work primarily in Gothenburg City's student administrative system IST Administration, as well as Skola24 and Vklass.
Responsibilities include, for example, student registration and deregistration, changing course groups, schedule adjustments, file management, grade handling, CSN (Student Aid) reporting, ordering national tests, managing Västtrafik travel cards, and releasing public documents. This means you will work across several different digital platforms.
The role also includes staffing the school reception, which is a natural place to meet students with their daily questions. Other reception duties include serving staff, welcoming and receiving visitors, and answering the reception phone. You will also serve as our external contact for guardians and authorities such as CSN and other schools.
The role of Student Administrator is a central and important position in the school's daily operations, where many new situations can arise during the workday. This involves a variety of tasks that depend on both the time of the school year and what is happening on any given day. It requires you to be flexible, a quick learner, and unpretentious.
The role may also include tasks such as marketing, and leading or participating in activities and projects with students and other staff.
You will work together with the current Student Administrator in a team.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have education and experience in administration or other comparable education that we consider equivalent. We would like you to have experience working with upper teenage youth. You should have experience working in a school environment and at the high school level.
Previous experience with the City's student administrative system, especially IST Administration, is advantageous. Experience and knowledge in marketing and project management are also considered meritorious.
You have high digital competence and learn new systems quickly. You express yourself well both verbally and in writing.
You take initiative and responsibility for moving work forward, whether working alone or with others. You act independently based on what the situation requires, without needing support from others. You have the ability to make independent decisions within the scope of your assignment.
You are structured and organized, and have an interest, willingness, and ability to help others, striving to present solutions. You are positive and observant in your work style. You enjoy working with both young people and adults and have a pronounced sense of service.
You are flexible and adapt easily to changed conditions and new information. You can quickly change your perspective and approach, and see opportunities in changes as operations and administration evolve over time.
It is important that you are stress-resistant, enjoy taking on new challenges, have good structural skills, and good adaptability, as there may be periods of high workload, especially at the beginning and end of the school year.
Since you will work in close collaboration with our current Student Administrator, you need to enjoy working in a team and have good teamwork skills.
Together we become better!
