We are now looking for a Team Leader for the IT Department

A key role where you combine operational leadership within the Customer Support unit, as well as a coordinating responsibility for system operations.

In this role, you will become an important part of the municipal executive board, whose task is to lead and support the municipality's development. We create the conditions for the municipality's operations to achieve their goals.

The IT Department is one of the largest IT organizations in the Skaraborg region. We deliver IT services and enable digitalization for the Skövde Municipality group as well as for our partner municipalities Hjo, Tibro, Karlsborg, and soon also Mariestad.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Team Leader within Customer Support, you play a central role in creating structure, overview, and progress in daily work. You serve as a support for employees while simultaneously maintaining the overall picture regarding cases, staffing, and operation-related issues.

The role is both operational and coordinating, where you daily switch between supporting employees, prioritizing activities, and following up on deliveries.

Your main responsibilities:

• Ensure structure and staffing in daily work, including planning, scheduling, and follow-up.
• Have overall responsibility for case flows, follow up, prioritize, and handle deviations or more complex cases.
• Serve as operational support in questions related to system operations and contribute to prioritizing and coordinating activities.
• Support Customer Support in daily work and contribute to efficient delivery to our customers.
• Act as a link between Customer Support and other units.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are structured, solution-oriented, and confident in taking responsibility. You thrive in a role where you get to oversee the big picture, prioritize, and simultaneously support others in their work.

You have a natural way of building trust and collaborating, and you are comfortable handling both everyday issues and more complex situations.

We believe that you:

• Have experience in IT support or similar operations.
• Have a good understanding of case management and processes.
• Are accustomed to coordinating and prioritizing in a changing daily routine.
• Have an interest in leadership and the development of working methods.
• Communicate clearly and pedagogically.
• Have experience/knowledge within the ITIL framework.

A university degree/vocational education within IT is a requirement, or equivalent experience deemed suitable by the employer.
