The Employment Unit (AME) in Lerum is looking for an engaged and driven Employment Case Worker to strengthen our team.
1 position(s).
Responsibilities
The role involves supporting municipal residents on their path to self-sufficiency in collaboration with various actors. In your assignment, you will play a central role in creating pathways to work and self-sufficiency for individuals who are outside the labor market. The assignment includes, among other things:
- Mapping competencies, resources, and support needs.
- Creating and following up on individual implementation plans.
- Coordinating labor market and rehabilitation efforts at the individual level.
- Motivating individuals towards work or studies based on their prerequisites.
- Planning and implementing measures for individuals and groups to strengthen the target group's opportunities through courses and other competence-enhancing initiatives.
- Collaborating with internal and external actors.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have a university degree in behavioral science or other education that the employer deems relevant for the assignment. We also look for you who have previous experience in similar work.
To succeed in the position, you need to have the following:
- Experience working in municipal labor market activities, the Swedish Public Employment Service (Arbetsförmedlingen), or the Swedish Social Insurance Agency (Försäkringskassan).
- Knowledge of the regulations of the Swedish Public Employment Service and the Swedish Social Insurance Agency.
- Knowledge and/or experience in one or more of the following areas: functional variations, mental ill-health, work rehabilitation, working with long-term unemployed.
- Experience collaborating with internal and external partners.
- Good insight into various subsidized employment and labor market measures.
- Meritorious to have knowledge of Motivational Interviewing (MI), BIP, and Supported Employment.
- Meritorious to have worked with individuals with psychiatric and/or addiction issues.
- Good ability to express yourself both orally and in writing.
- The position requires documentation and handling of our digital operational systems.
- Requirement: Class B driver's license.
The position requires good communication skills and a professional approach.
As an Employment Case Worker, you need to be receptive and have good skills in building relationships, listening, and motivating change. You have good collaboration skills and can work in a team or independently.
To succeed in the role, you need to be analytical, solution-focused, and open to new opportunities, as well as unpretentious and flexible. It is also important to be structured and able to plan and drive cases forward.
It is important that you have the ability to look beyond the immediate situation and see development needs in units that are constantly changing based on the external environment.
Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

- 10th percentile: 35,899 SEK
- Median: 42,100 SEK
- 90th percentile: 50,360 SEK
