Senior Tax Expert – Interim Assignment

We are now looking for an experienced Senior Tax Expert for an exciting assignment with an international company. The assignment is full-time, starts immediately, and initially runs for approximately four months with the possibility of extension.

In this role, you will become part of the global tax function and work on qualified issues within Swedish and international corporate taxation, with a particular focus on Pillar 2/GloBE.

Responsibilities

• Handle and support the business in matters concerning Swedish and international corporate taxation

• Work on Pillar 2/GloBE-related issues and projects

• Participate in and lead dialogue with tax authorities and handle tax audits

• Monitor and report on the status of international tax matters

• Ensure correct tax handling in projects and business structures

• Review and prepare Swedish income tax returns

• Handle withholding tax issues as well as MDR/DAC6 reporting

• Act as an advisor to finance functions and international subsidiaries

• Educate and guide the organization on tax-related matters

We are looking for someone who has

• An academic degree in economics or law

• Several years of experience with qualified corporate taxation in large international companies, audit firms, or tax advisory practices

• Good knowledge of international taxation and corporate income tax

• Experience with Tax Accounting

• Good understanding of accounting, financial processes, and business operations

• Fluent English in both speech and writing

Experience with Pillar 2/GloBE, Transfer Pricing, MDR/DAC6, or work within larger international groups is considered an asset. Good skills in Excel and PowerPoint are also seen as an advantage.

To succeed in the role, you are self-motivated, business-minded, and communicative, with the ability to build trust and collaborate with many different stakeholders.
