What does the role entail?

As a Job Coach/Handler, you will be responsible for planning, documentation, and coaching our participants who are seeking employment or need support starting their studies. It is important that you are driven, self-motivated, results-oriented, goal-focused, and have experience in coaching. You will also actively help participants find work by recruiting employers into our internal employer database. Networking is a significant and important part of the daily work to achieve our goals.

This is a temporary position during weeks 30–33, with an introduction period a few days during week 29. The position is based at our office in Borås. There is also an opportunity, if interested, to work as a hourly employee for future leave, sickness, etc.

You must meet the following requirements according to option 1 or 2.

Option 1

You have at least 180 higher education credits (120 credits under the old system) and fluent Swedish in both speech and writing.

You have education in one of the following areas:

  • Working life
  • Organization and personnel work
  • Study and career guidance
  • Business Administration
  • Psychology
  • Behavioral Sciences
  • Social Sciences
  • Pedagogy
  • Occupational Therapy or Social Work education
  • Or within similar fields

As an applicant, you must have at least two years of full-time work experience. Part-time work is also acceptable if the combined working hours equal two years of full-time work. Studies and work experience must be certified.

Option 2

You have one year of post-secondary education and speak and write fluent Swedish.

You have at least three years of full-time work experience in one of the following areas:

  • Team leadership with personnel responsibility
  • Recruitment
  • Transition work for job seekers
  • Study and career guidance
  • Processing of personnel matters (not solely personnel administration)
  • Work with working life and labor market issues
  • Work with social and group psychology
  • Career guidance

Work experience must be certified.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Additional languages beyond Swedish and English are meritorious.

Employment: 100% for four weeks, weeks 30–33, plus introduction during week 29.

Start date: Sometime during week 29 when the introduction takes place.
