Welcome to apply for the position of Childcare Assistant (Barnskötare) with placement in Rydaholm and Horda. These towns are part of Värnamo Municipality's outer areas. The preschools in Rydaholm and Horda currently collaborate closely, and you will work in an stimulating environment that you help influence.

We are currently looking for you who are trained as a Childcare Assistant with a few years of experience.

Responsibilities

You will be placed at one of the three preschools in the area. You are a team player and, together with your colleagues, you participate in planning, implementing, documenting, reflecting on, and developing the pedagogical work. Together, we lay a good foundation for the child's development and learning based on the preschool curriculum and Värnamo Municipality's vision. In your work with the children, you will have access to various digital tools. We look forward to sharing your knowledge, thoughts, and ideas to create a fun and educational preschool. We can offer you varied and developmental tasks with great opportunities for you to develop within the organization.

In this role, we are looking for a calm, secure, and curious adult who values the children's interests and challenges them to test different thoughts and strategies, while helping them find good solutions to everyday situations. You work to create a safe and secure environment that attracts and challenges children to play, engage in activities, and learn. You are well-versed in the preschool's routines and can create a positive atmosphere. Your work is characterized by clear respect for the individual and good relationships with children, guardians, and colleagues.

Qualifications

• We are looking for you who are trained as a Childcare Assistant and have documented experience working with multilingual children in a multicultural environment. You feel confident in meeting the pedagogical and social conditions that may arise in areas with socioeconomic challenges.
• Being multilingual is an advantage.
• Experience with alternative communication methods such as picture support and PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System) is required.
• You need to be flexible regarding working hours and able to work during all preschool opening hours (06:00–18:30).

Conditions

Selection and interviews take place continuously. The position will be filled subject to necessary decisions being made.
