Due to dropouts in our summer recruitment, we are now looking for you who can start working immediately and have a strong interest in working full-time during the summer.

Tursbo Rehab is now hiring treatment assistants on an hourly basis for our units in Åker and Kulltorp. Here we receive adult men, aged 20–65, for treatment of addiction, criminality, and often in combination with mental health issues. We use the 12-step program as the theoretical basis for treatment, with elements of CBT.

Additionally, we have nurses, psychologists, and psychiatrists attached to our operations. The clients are primarily placed by the Swedish Prison and Probation Service and Social Services, but LVM (Care of Abusers) placements also occur.

We are now looking for one or two treatment assistants for the summer, with the possibility of hourly work also during the autumn. The operation runs 24/7, and working hours can vary from daytime to evening, weekends, and nights with sleeping on-call duty.

The duties include:

• Medication distribution
• Sample collection
• Supervision and care
• Counseling/Talks
• Cooking
• Cleaning and laundry
• Driving
• Journaling and other documentation
• Leading leisure activities
• Leading treatment groups, depending on competence

You need:

• A good view of humanity and a commitment to ensuring everyone receives the best possible treatment and interaction while with us.
• Good ability to set boundaries and work with a focus on personal, but not private, involvement.
• The ability to work independently, be secure in solo work, and thrive with a high variation in tasks.
• Good documentation skills.
• The ability to spread joy and positivity at work.
• A valid B-driver's license for manual transmission vehicles.
• A clean criminal record (no sanctions/sentences) for at least the last 5 years.
• In case of personal addiction issues, at least 5 years of drug-free sobriety.
