Personal Assistant for a Cozy 13-Year-Old Boy – Just Outside Vetlanda

At Poolarna Assistans, we are currently looking for a warm, secure, and dedicated personal assistant for a cozy 13-year-old boy. Here, you will enjoy a varied and meaningful job where you become an important part of the client's daily life and join a wonderful assistant team.

About the Position

This is a temporary hourly position starting immediately, with the possibility of permanent employment later on. Working hours are day/evening shifts of 12 hours, scheduled between 07:00–19:00. You will always work together with other assistants.

The work is based at the client's home just outside Vetlanda, but you will also accompany him to activities, outings, doctor's visits, and family gatherings. The role involves ensuring our client has a good day by assisting with personal care, medication management, contracture prophylaxis, and documentation.

Most importantly, however, is creating fun moments through activities such as listening to music, reading books, bathing, walking, and more. The work can be physically demanding and involve lifting and transfers, but assistive devices are available in the home.

We are looking for someone who

• Is secure, sensitive, and responsible.
• Is flexible and can adapt to different situations.
• Speaks and writes Swedish fluently.
• Has a driver's license and access to a private car.
• Can provide a certificate from the Swedish Police Authority (criminal record check).

Experience within healthcare and social care is advantageous, but personal suitability is most important to us.
