We are now looking for a personal assistant as a substitute for a young woman who is on a two-year study leave. The position can develop into a permanent employment.

The position is 75% with a rolling three-week schedule. According to this setup:

Week 1: Tuesday 07.00–19.00

Week 2: Monday and Tuesday 07.00–19.00

Week 3: Monday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday 07.00–19.00

Long breaks between shifts and only working every third weekend.

Introduction in August and the schedule starts in September.

The work involves helping our 13-year-old client meet their needs, both in daily routines such as medication management, activation, and positioning.

You will work within a large assistance organization, where you will have the opportunity to work both independently and in a group within a family environment.

As an assistant, we would like you to be proactive and forward-thinking to help our client in social situations and when assistance is needed. You need to be quick in this role but also able to handle calm moments. This is a workplace where you get to do things that our client enjoys, such as bathing, reading books, walking, going on excursions, and playing games.

It is important to be able to take instructions and make quick decisions.

We believe that you, as an applicant, are responsible, secure, and strong as a person. It is important that you are doing well yourself to be able to help our client.

It is equally important to be self-reliant as well as able to collaborate with others. Fluent Swedish in both speech and writing is a requirement. Documentation is done digitally in writing throughout the entire work shift.

Experience and education as a personal assistant or assistant nurse are prioritized. Training is also provided at the workplace.

The workplace is located just outside Vetlanda. A car and driver's license are required for the position.
