Job Description

The main responsibilities of the position are to recruit, investigate, and supervise foster homes, contact families, and contact persons. You will work together with the foster family, the child's social secretary, and other actors to create a good upbringing environment for the child.

We work in the business system Combine and we are in the process of implementing the Signs of Safety approach in the municipality. We would like you to have experience with this.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a social work degree or other equivalent education and preferably experience of social work and authority practice. Collaboration with others is a crucial part of the assignment and therefore it is important that you have a good ability for constructive cooperation, are flexible, non-hierarchical, and can create trusting relationships.

If you have supervision training and training in the investigation method "A Lasting Relationship", this is particularly meritorious, as well as experience of working with children placed in foster homes.

As a person, you are organized, responsible, methodical, and careful in your way of thinking and working. You are good at planning and have a good order of things and are careful to keep timeframes.

You are confident in yourself and can handle unexpected situations that may arise with the families we meet. You have a courage that is sometimes needed to be able to lift things that are difficult and the ability to distinguish between fact and person.

You participate actively in business development and are not unfamiliar with trying new methods and ways of working. You contribute with your competence and your experiences as well as ideas. You motivate and support your colleagues and contribute to a good working environment with much joy.
