What does the role entail? We are currently looking for personal assistants for a cheerful 19-year-old young man in Vetlanda. He is an active young man who needs support with, among other things, personal hygiene, dressing, communication, and activities. His days are full of energy and action. As his assistant, you should have good patience and focus on motivational work to support him in his daily life. You also need to work with low-arousal approaches.

He lives in his own accommodation in Vetlanda, so as an assistant, you will help the customer with household chores and cooking, for example. Our customer enjoys coffee breaks, walks, cycling, and playing video games, so sharing these interests is a plus!

We are looking for you who can work extra when needed.

The working hours cover all hours of the day, but the shifts vary as follows:

• 16:10 - 20:00/21:00
• 20:00/21:00 - 07:30
• 06:30 - 19:30
• 09:00 - 21:00
• 21:00 - 09:00

About you - As a personal assistant, we would like you to be cooperative, sensitive, responsible, and flexible. You should be a calm and secure person while also being active and alert. Most importantly, there must be good chemistry between you as the applicant and the customer, which may be decisive in the final selection.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license (manual/automatic),
• Access to a car,
• Non-smoker.

Merits:

• Healthcare experience or equivalent,
• Healthcare education or equivalent.

Scope: Extra as needed. Number of positions: 2. Start date: According to agreement. Selection and interviews are conducted on a rolling basis, and the position will be filled as soon as possible. Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with the collective agreement.

Due to the fact that the role may involve solo work, night work, and tasks that, according to the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations (AFS 2012:3), cannot be performed by minors, you must be at least 18 years old to work as a personal assistant with us.

If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you are required to present an extract from the criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new regulations will apply meaning that the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record and extracts from the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Swedish Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so it is advisable to order well in advance.
