We are now looking for a new employee for our lovely 11-year-old client who lives with her family on a farm between Värnamo and Vrigstad. Are you a cheerful and responsible person with a childlike spirit? Then you could be one of us!

About the position

The client is a lovely and playful girl who loves a fast pace with play and activities. She often comes up with fun things to do together with her sister. As a personal assistant, you will become part of the family's daily life. It is important that you have the ability to sense the family's tempo and determine when it is time to take initiative and when it is appropriate to stay in the background.

The duties include, among other things, picking up the client at home after school and after-school activities such as scouting and gymnastics. There is a lot of play in the home, as well as support and encouragement for training through play. The client lives on a farm and enjoys going out into nature, playing, exploring, and being with the animals.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who likes children and has a playful side. To fit the role, you must be flexible, communicative, respectful, calm, and have good initiative.

Previous experience with LSS (Swedish Social Services for people with disabilities) and children is desirable. Experience with PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System) and visual supports is an advantage. Since there is a lot of floor play and physical movement, you must be in good physical shape to keep up with the client's pace. To be considered for the position, you must not be allergic to animals, chlorine, or nuts. You must have a driver's license, access to a car, and be a non-smoker.

We are currently looking for:

• Temporary staff and part-time position of approx. 10 hours/week
• Working hours include Tuesdays 13:20–17:45, Wednesdays 13:20–17:00, and every other Saturday, if desired, 09:30–14:30.
• Start immediately or by agreement.
• You will receive an introduction and the opportunity to shadow an experienced assistant.
