We work from a holistic perspective on people's needs. Therefore, we have a cohesive administration that works with the entire mandate of social services under the motto "We support an independent life". Nässjö Municipality has a focus goal to provide children with conditions for a good upbringing. To perform this work in the best possible way and also provide greater opportunities for the development of the work, we are organized into three units for children and young people; Investigation Unit, Placement Unit, and Intervention Unit. In total, we have approximately 65 employees, and the units collaborate closely.
The Placement Unit is looking for a social secretary for the Youth Group to follow up on placed young people.
The unit consists of the Youth Group and the Foster Care Group. In the Youth Group, social secretaries handle investigations as well as social secretaries who follow up on placed young people. In the Foster Care Group, social secretaries follow up on placed children, and foster care secretaries recruit and supervise our service providers. The groups each have a group leader who leads the work and distributes cases.
On the Unit, there is much experience, broad competence, as well as job satisfaction and great commitment to continuously developing our working methods regarding work with placed children and young people.

DUTIES
We are looking for you who have a great commitment to young people and who want to work specifically with placed young people. You follow up on placed young people in foster homes, residential care (HVB), or supported housing, and coordinate other contacts around the young person, such as family, network, school, and other authorities. Investigation work occurs, often together with investigative social secretaries in the Youth Group. The work is based on the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Act with Special Provisions on Care of Young People (LVU). Follow-up of placement according to the Act on Placement of Children in Protected Housing (LSB) may occur. In the Youth Group, cases are also handled according to the Act with Special Provisions on Young Offenders (LUL).
You work in a team with both foster care secretaries and other social secretaries for placed children and young people. The position involves travel to placements, which may entail evening work.
As a follow-up social secretary, you participate in the unit's "Strengthened Consultation" where placement-related cases are raised. Here, care is also followed up and quality assured until discharge, with a focus on handling difficulties and challenges in a solution-focused and proactive manner. We work together to create the best conditions for our children and young people.
We have an official BBIC license and document in Combine. External supervision is included in the position.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you with a degree in social work or other relevant education. You have experience in the exercise of authority within social services, preferably directed towards children and young people. You have good knowledge of the mandate of social services and current legislation. Experience with BBIC is meritorious.
As a person, you are meticulous, independent, and have no trouble handling when conditions and planning change in the work. Since the work involves many contacts, both internally and externally, you should have the ability to collaborate, be outgoing, and positive. You should be able to express yourself well in speech and writing. Great importance is attached to personal suitability. We are looking for you who have a driver's license.
