Do you want to make a vital difference for vulnerable people? Then the role of Operational Manager is a meaningful position. As an Operational Manager, you are responsible for institution-wide coordination and leadership of ongoing work outside office hours, during evenings and nights, with the aim of promoting a safe care and work environment. You guide and support your colleagues in their work and ensure that operations are conducted in a legally secure manner and in accordance with current guidelines, methods, and set goals. Concretely, this includes, among other things, leading incident management during alarm situations and taking necessary measures after an incident has occurred. You report identified deficiencies and deviations from routines to relevant managers. You create and update safety assessments and make decisions on coercive measures according to the LVM (Act Concerning Care of Abusers of Intoxicants) in accordance with SiS's work and delegation regulations. You thrive in client-facing work and staff vacant shifts as needed.

Qualifications

Furthermore, you are structured in your work and have a good ability to plan and prioritize effectively.

You must also have:

• A suitable university education such as social worker, behavioral scientist, or another equivalent higher education degree, or alternatively relevant post-secondary education combined with experience working within SiS or similar operations.
• Several years of experience working within SiS or another operation focused on care, treatment, and security, such as social services, healthcare, correctional services, or other relevant operations.
• Good ability to lead, prioritize, and coordinate a work group.
• Good communication skills to express yourself well both verbally and in writing.

Employment:

The position is a permanent full-time role starting with a six-month probationary period. Start date by agreement. You will undergo introduction and training both at the institution in Värnamo and at the headquarters in Stockholm. The schedule you work according to is based on having five operational managers who together staff the function around the clock. This implies work during days, evenings, nights, and weekends according to a rotating schedule, which also includes meetings and training.
