Work Coach for the Employment Unit in Gnosjö Municipality

The Employment Unit provides support to individuals who are far from the labor market, with the goal of improving their prospects of finding employment or pursuing studies.

You will be part of the Employment Unit's team, working in close cooperation with local businesses, the Swedish Public Employment Service (Arbetsförmedlingen), the Swedish Social Insurance Agency (Försäkringskassan), Region Jönköping County, Finnveden Coordination Board, Gnosjö Spirit Knowledge Center, and other municipal departments and operations.

Job Responsibilities

As a work coach, your primary task is to coach individuals toward employment or studies based on the individual's prerequisites and the needs of the labor market. Together with other staff in the unit, the aim is to create the best possible conditions for individuals to achieve regular employment or studies. In this way, you contribute to a socially sustainable Gnosjö Municipality, with a focus on the business sector's competence supply challenges.

You will help individuals identify and use their own strengths and abilities through motivational work. You will contribute to promoting, improving, and/or maintaining the individual's health, identifying obstacles, and seeking sustainable solutions. You will be responsible for various supportive measures.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a team. You should be stimulated by tackling challenges independently as well as in collaboration with others. You will have a good opportunity to be introduced to the role.

Qualifications

In the role of work coach, we are looking for you who are driven and engaged in interactions with people. You see the big picture and the prerequisites for each individual. You should find it easy to connect with new people, have strong listening skills, and possess considerable social competence.

You have an easy time creating an overview in both thought and work. To succeed really well, we also believe you have experience in conducting conversations, both individually and in groups, and have experience working from a diversity perspective. You need to have good collaboration skills, maintaining and developing the cooperation required for the assignment.

You must be able to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and have a good ability to independently create the structure and administration that the position requires.

Requirements for the position:

• You hold a university education that the employer deems suitable for the position.
• If you have worked in a coaching/motivational role in labor market issues with people far from the labor market, we view this as meritorious.
• A driver's license is required.
• We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Salary: Monthly salary.
Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: Start date: 2026-08-10, End date: 2026-12-31.
Working hours: Daytime.

Interviews will take place during week 32.
