About the workplace

The Social Services Authority IFO is a small unit with close proximity to collaboration partners and decision-makers, offering you significant opportunities to influence and engage in development work. Job Responsibilities

This position is organized within the adult group, led by the unit manager. As one of four social secretaries in the group, you will investigate needs and assess interventions regarding harmful substance use and addiction, domestic violence, and social care according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Act on Care of Abusers in Certain Cases (LVM).

You need to be skilled at building relationships and collaborating, as collaboration, both internally and externally, is a crucial part of the role.

Your Background

We are looking for you who have a degree in social work or other education/experience that the employer deems equivalent. Experience in authority decision-making within one or more of the areas mentioned is meritorious. The tasks require good verbal and written communication skills. Documentation is done in the business system Combine.

In your work, you investigate the client's needs and make decisions on interventions. You need to have the ability to build relationships, alliances, and trust to provide the right support, while communicating clearly and inspiring confidence.

Since the work may need to be adjusted quickly, you should enjoy varied work and have the ability to quickly change your planning and make new priorities. Legal certainty, high quality of work, and good treatment of clients are second nature to you.

Personal suitability is highly valued. Responsibility, commitment, and interest in development are highly appreciated.

A valid B-class driver's license is required for this position.
