Perfect part-time job – Personal assistant for a happy 6-year-old boy

At Livsam, we are now looking for a personal assistant for a happy, social, and playful boy who spreads joy wherever he goes.

He is a curious and active boy who loves playing with friends, building Lego, playing role-playing games, and going to the theater. Like other children, he wants to participate in play, activities, and all the fun moments of everyday life.

He lives with his parents and his sister and attends school.

He has a PIPO diagnosis and receives nutrition via a button-fed feeding tube. He also has a CVK (central venous catheter), a thin tube into the bloodstream that requires careful and safe handling according to clear routines. Therefore, care related to the feeding tube, stoma, and CVK may be required. You will receive introduction and training.

About the job

As a personal assistant, your task is to be a support in his daily life and enable an active and independent life. You help him participate in play, activities, and social interaction on the same terms as other children.

Tasks that may include:

• Support during play and activities
• Personal hygiene
• Meals and tube feeding
• Medication
• Dressing and undressing
• Care related to stoma and CVK

We are looking for you who

• Are secure, responsible, and empathetic
• Have a playful and positive attitude
• Enjoy working with children
• Have good social sensitivity and can read situations
• Understand the importance of working in a family's home and can adapt to when it is appropriate to be social and when it is better to be more reserved
• Have a natural sense of safety and follow routines carefully
• Preferably have experience from school, preschool, or similar
• Have a driver's license (meritorious)

Working hours

The position is an hourly employment with shifts mainly in the afternoons after school and on weekends.
